There is not one but given my background I would have to say computers, closely followed by the World Wide Web. These technologies provide the platform for so many positive changes to the World, if we want them to.
A really tough question as great technologies always seem obvious choices for invention – after their invention. Technologies to help eliminate World hunger, disease, unfairness and inequality would be great.
